D12, Rap's Geniuse sand Purple Hills…

Everyone is aside, and D12 aside in the Rap World.  However, if you hear the name of the D12 rap group for the first time, it would be useful to read this blog. “Cause they're the genius kids of rap”

Dirty Dozen or D12 is a Detroit rap group founded in the USA. They are actually a factory of rap songs. So much so that this group, which includes Eminem and has changed in its members over time, is famous for being the first group of many rappers who made their own albums during the 90s. The group has a 5+1 structure and consisted of Bizarre, Swift, Kon Artis, Proof, and Kuniva. Eminem is the reason why we say 5+1 …

At this point, Eminem should not be overlooked; because Eminem is a loyal person… Eminem started to become popular in early 1997 and after this first step he joined his group D12. On the other hand, the group that lost Bugz in 1999 and replaced it with Swift, lost Proof in 2006 as a result of being shot again in a fight.  They featured the song "Good Die Young" in memory of Bugz on their "D12 World" album. After this incident, all members of the group, including Eminem, said that they would continue on their way, even though they were very upset. .

Meanwhile, D12 released their first album, Devil's Night, in 2001. Singles such as "Purple Hills", (its real name is "Purple Pills" among us) and similar singles released on the album made the group the center of attention for many years, and this popularity continued to rise. In 2004, they released their second album, "D12 World", and the songs in this album such as "How Come", "My Band" and "40 Oz" were highly appreciated.

Let's not pass without making a short informative sharing. The song "Purple Hills", released in 2001 by D12, which is the subject of our article, was censored due to MTV. Its uncensored name is "Purple Pills".  The song, included in the studio album "Devil's Night", peaked at number nineteen on the Billboard Hot 100, number one in Ireland, number two in the United Kingdom and Norway, number three in Australia, and number five in Sweden. It should also be noted that two or three more songs of the group were also censored.

Let's send a greeting from the purple hills to D12 …
