In the Way of Panthera …

In the Way of Panthera …

We will follow in the footsteps of Panthera in the farthest corners of Africa. We will hunt… During this hunt, we will take a look at the natural habitat of wildlife in the black continent of Africa and we will go against poaching, which we do not approve of at all.

Remember, the hunter becomes the hunted…

What would our world be like without humans? How would our nature and environment be shaped? We seem to hear your answer; it would be a better world … Yes true. It would be very nice. However, there is no obstacle or reason for it not to be a beautiful world. If we want…

The African continent has always attracted attention for centuries with its natural vegetation, aboveground treasures and underground treasures. For this reason, Africa is one of the places most affected by colonialism. This has been both a benefit and a great loss for the African continent.

You can come across different wildlife habitats in every corner of Africa. The most interesting and well-known of these is the Nairobi National Park, located in Nairobi, the capital of Kenya. Nairobi National Park welcomes visitors from all over the world who come to see wildlife. Most of this area is electric fenced. Nairobi National Park occupies a large area of 117 square kilometers. There are antelopes, zebras, giraffes and buffaloes in the park, which is almost the center of wildlife, and they often roam in herds. Especially Kenya is the country of first choice for safari enthusiasts and attracts tens of thousands of visitors almost every year.

Of course, wildlife in Africa is not limited to Kenya. It is possible to see different kinds of animals in many parts of Africa. … They are very happy in their own living space and on their own. Some people's passion for hunting, which goes beyond interest, unfortunately results in the extinction of many animal species. This even goes as far as poaching.

The World Wildlife Fund (WWF) reports that poaching and trafficking continue even in the most important ecologically protected areas, including World Heritage sites. Illegal hunting, illegal logging and illegal fishing continue in 30% of 43 world heritage sites. The population of wild animals has decreased by 68% in the last 50 years. Parallel to this situation, tropical forests are becoming increasingly desolate. Illegal hunting continues to drastically reduce mammal populations. Yet natural areas are the last refuge for endangered animal species.

Unfortunately, Africa has turned into a continent that transforms people's wild pleasure beyond luxury into commercial and touristic entertainment. In the meantime, let's remind that the most popular countries for safari hunts are South Africa, Namibia and Zimbabwe.… Kenya banned commercial hunting in 1977. In 2014, Botswana followed Kenya in this sense. Hunting for endangered lions and felines has been illegal in Zambia since 2013. In other words, some of the measures taken are promising for the future, albeit late.

Whatever happens, we will continue to protect nature in the way of Panthera, fight for the survival of wildlife, and say "no" to illegal hunting together.
